i got this retro hat in early high-school i think, when i still cared about baseball. at the time i wasn’t a fan of the White Sox, i just wanted a hat with pinstripes and a short brim. it didn’t occur to me until 15 years later (just this week) that i could cut off the stitched team logo and just enjoy an old timey pinstriped-short-brim hat, without the sports-team affiliations.
